Site Engineer

The Role PROSITEUK are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a highways scheme in Oxford Street, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the engineering and quality requirements of the project, with a particular focus on QA, ITPs, check sheets and setting out. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong highways/infrastructure experience who is confident working independently and managing the engineering and quality requirements on site. Key Responsibilities - Setting out and providing engineering support across the scheme - Completing and maintaining QA documentation - Working with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) - Completing and managing check sheets and quality records - Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements - Carrying out relevant quality and engineering checks - Liaising with site management and project teams to ensure works are delivered to the required standards - Maintaining accurate site records and documentation Requirements - Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on highways/infrastructure projects - Strong understanding of QA processes and documentation - Proficient with ITPs and check sheets - Competent with setting out - Previous experience working on similar highways/civil engineering schemes - Able to work independently and take ownership of engineering and quality responsibilities - Own laptop required - Own engineering/surveying kit required Package - £400 per shift - Outside IR35 - Approximately 10 weeks' work - Start date: 21 September 2026 - Potential for further phases of work in the New Year Oxford Street, London location If you are an experienced Site Engineer with highways experience and are available from 21 September, please get in touch with PROSITEUK to discuss the role.
